GFA SIGNS MATCHBALL DEAL WITH MACRON GHANA.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has signed a partnership agreement with Macron Ghana Limited, sports apparel manufacturers as official matchball sponsors.

Macron will furnish the GFA with a total of five thousand (5,000) pieces of footballs and one thousand five hundred (1,500) pieces of bibs every campaign for the next three seasons in a deal valued at GH¢1.6m cedis.

Macron will be the official matchball partner for the Ghana Premier League (GPL), MTN FA cup and the National Division One League.

President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Edwin Simon Kurt Okraku in his address said he was chuffed about the partnership deal describing it as “exciting” for Ghana Football.

“It is a historic day and this gesture from Macron will affect every facet of our football development.

“Club owners would not be saddled with the burden of buying footballs.”

Chief Executive Officer for Macron Ghana, Alhaji Alhassan Mutala speaking at the unveiling ceremony said his outfit is delighted to partner with the GFA towards the development of Ghana football adding that they have lot to offer to the sports fraternity.
